Hello summer !!

A big warm hello to my lovely friends and readers of this blog !
Its Pooja here again !
Summer is just returning and we love summer here in the UK,
its very cold almost 7-8 months of the whole year and it gets too gloomy !
So when this warm sun comes !!! We like to make most of it ! :)

Which calls for a lovely summer card !
And since we are playing CAS this time at lulupu ,
I couldnt help but jump in !

But first lets take a look at the inspiration picture and the rules.

1. Make a CAS (Clean and Simple) card based on the color palette in the inspiration picture below
Remember you HAVE to incorporate atleast THREE colours

 2. But remember to create cards which depict the summer season.{Ex: Summer fruits -like watermelons, strawberries, Summer drinks, Shakes, Picnic themed cards, beach themed cards, cards depicting a park, sunglasses, the summer heat, ice-creams, coolers Or simply the word SUMMER}
3. And it HAS TO BE A CARD !

Now with that understood , here is my take on the challenge theme.

Its been quite a while that i made something CAS !
So this one really needed a bit of thinking .....
I decided to finally go for as little as possible (Since thats out of my comfort zone)
I added 2 embossed pieces on the top and the bottom of my Negative die cut HELLO.

The word hello is cut on the Card base itself .
Under which i have placed my pattern paper which includes most of the colors from the palette.
With that out of the way i stamped a speech bubble from the mica stamp set with a star stick candy
and added a hand written SUMMER inside it.

Here is s close up of the negative die cut hello !
Hope that you enjoyed my card.
