Product Review: Sakura Glaze Pens and a Tag!

Hello!!!!!

I really find very less time to craft with my son who needs me all the time with him, to play, feed, teach, fight.... he is so Naughty, I know every mother nods her head while i say "Yes, it happens"...  Good that he is sleeping while i am writing this post.. :)

I am here today with a Review for Sakura Glaze Pens. I really need to mention this, this was my first here purchase from Lulupu's store should be in 2011 when i started paper crafting and when my crafty shopping was in peak... :P

I really love these pens. I don't know if i can give you a formal review, but i can show you how nice it and where all to use these pens.

To Start, these were the colors in my set and this is how they look on White CS.

(Please forgive my handwriting, lost the touch, need to write a lot to get mine back.)

On Black

You can use the glaze pens for coloring stamped images, digis, heat embossed image, highlighting patterened papers, give glaze/enamel look to you sentiments and doodles, Clear resist, and soo on...

Try them they are amazing!

I am showing you some various ways to use them on Patterned Papers.

Its great for dotting, so it ll give awesome look if you use in polka dots patterns too, and here is how i dotted them in a floral PP.

I have used clear, green, red and yellow glaze pens in the below one. I used clear on colors, colors on colored, like red on red, color on white, yellow on white. To show you the colors are not very translucent and the colors shows up well when used even on other colors.

You can use them to highlight some letters in PP or to write, doodle to give a mild look using you clear glaze pen.

I have used clear and green on "50" which was sin white.

Yes the amazing fact is it resists ink. You can use it instead ur embossing pen, as these are like gel pens to handle you can write your own sentiments in ur cards/projects and ink and just wipe off slightly to get the resist.

Glaze Pen Features (From the Sakura Website):

- A roller ball pen that is easy and comfortable to use
- Write slowly so the ink flows out thickly and allow time to dry completely about 10 minutes.
- A raised effect that is delicate and can be crushed-down
- Waterproof on most surfaces
- Use on light backgrounds, and on plastic, glass, ceramic and metal
- Raised effect best on non-porous, clean, smooth, matte surfaces

Some tips when you use them:

- You can just use them like you gel pens. So its easy peasy to handle it.
- Give some time to dry completely, this will give a good results. Say 30-45 Seconds.
- Remember to clean the pen tip with your hands or a damp cloth as it might have the dried ink.
- Have a scrap paper to scribble before each use(if your using after long time). This ll make sure your project comes out neat.

Finally here is a tag and i have used glaze pens to colors my butterfly... yes my butterfly, i adore them , love them on my projects.

Hope you like the tag...
