Summer time!

Hello crafting friends

How are you doing? Hopefully enjoying our posts and having some inspiration to create your projects! Since our theme for this month is Weather or not I, Ruthie, bring you a frame with summer weather inspiration....but to tell you the truth; I inspired myself with our San Diego weather. Yes!! Let me show you a picture of Today's weather. (This is a view from the parking lot of my job site). I have the beach a few miles from here. :) Who wants to work in such weather eh?

Now entering into my project; I did a frame with a technique called sponge and spritz. I used the distress inks of Tim Holtz (broken china, tumbled glass, peeled paint and mustard seed.) Over with cardstock and then I applied the distress inks with a Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool in circular motion until the cardstock was all covered by ink. Then, I sprayed water with the Mini Misters.

Then with my Silhouette Cameo I cut the sun, the beach palm and the water waves. I added stickles Frosted Lace on the waves.  Added a piece of Kraft paper distressing the edge with the distressing tool to give the look of sand.

Here is my frame, hope you like it and gives you inspiration to create your  Weather or not project for this month challenge!

We cannot wait to see you fabulous creations in or  challenge #15 weather or not !! See you next time!
Ruthie
