Some more magic with Embossing!

Goog Morning friends! 

This is Tanvi & welcome to some more magic with embossing powders!

Heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques in card making. Even today I am as excited as I was when I first tried my hands at heat embossing using the iron! Love the sight of the embossing powder melting as I move the heat gun! 

In the first card today I have the image as well as the sentiment heat embossed. The image is fussy cut after embossing & coloring. 

As you can see in the picture my second card has both wet & dry embossing.

I love using vellum for my cards & heat embossing on vellum is a perfect trick to prevent the image/sentiment from smudging!

Twist - Use Red or Pink

1. Anything goes - so you can make a card, layout, canvas, mini album, 3d project etc.
2. Emphasis on Sweets - use it in the sentiment, title or literally - cupcakes, candies, chocolates..... use your imagination
3. Don't forget the twist - Include Red or Pink in your project. You can use both too if you want.

A Funky Birthday Card with Washi Tapes

Hello dear ladies! How are you all? Enjoying the weather?? Oh! here it is SO hot in our place and it's like second summer!! Alright! Today I have a very funky birthday card to share..

but before getting into the details of my card, let me remind you the challenge guide lines..
(For general guide lines click here)

1. You can create a card/Lo/or just anything..
2. You must use three different washi tapes
3. You have use any geometric shape or you could use atleast one (1)  ready made embellishment..

Well.. here is my card, I used five (5) different washi tapes on my card and also incorporated a little hexagon shape.. Smiley face and the party hat were hand drawn (these two shapes, circle and triangle also come under geometric shapes.. ;) )

Don't you like this funky back ground? When I asked my hubby for a feed back on this card, he said.. 'yey! it's just looking like an ad with full of celebrations'.. :D 

Well.. I wrote and decorated a little inside the card too..
