Luminary using dies

Hello Friends!!!
Neha here today with my inspiration post for the current challenge. This time the challenge is all about using cutting dies to create 3D projects (anything goes).

Challenge # 45 3D projects - Use cutting Dies

You can use electronic dies cutting machines to make anything like a box, frame, house etc., but using templates will not qualify.

Here is what I created, It's a Luminary made by using Spellbiners Nestabilities Majestic elements marvelous squares die as the base. I have also used Sizzix weathered clock die and Die versions trellis whispers die here.

This pattern is present on all the three sides.

Here is the pic with a tea light inside it. It looks awesome, isn't it?

On a piece of white CS I have used the spellbinder die four times to cut the window for luminary and then scored   in between them. This formed the base for luminary. Then colored the CS using DI fired brick and did some stamping using black archival ink. Followed by adding some texture using Prima white sand and a medium coat of clear rock candy crackle paint.Added other die cuts and vellum was then glued on the inner side of the windows. After folding the score lines you get a box like shape. Finally comes the embellishment part. Added punched edges on top, flowers, wood veneers, charms, metal corners, pollen fillers, pearls and liquid pearls (gold). And that's it, My luminary was ready.

I really had fun making it. Hope You like it too!! Let me know your views. Do not forget to enter the challenge here as we have a Memory Box Bali Corner Memory Die for you to win this time.
