Meow! Meow!! :P

Hello Crafters!!

This is Nikita here with my inspiration (albeit a day late :P) for this fortnight's challenge - Stamp & Colour + Emboss. For my card, I decided to stamp and colour these gorgeous colours from the Stamp Set called Wildflowers by The Craft's Meow. It is an amazing stamp with a great image that is perfect for colouring in. :D While colouring, I got so carried away that I coloured the flowers in three different colour combinations. Yes, you read that right - THREE; and I am going to show all three to you. :) I stamped the flowers in Versamark and used Ranger's Black Superfine Detail embossing powder (Stamping & Embossing, check :D) and coloured the stamps using Faber Castell watercolour pencils (Colouring, check!) I then smoothened the colour pencil lines using my Koi Waterbrush and then I added some Stickles here and there :P

Around the world!

Hey everyone!

Don't you just looooove the new LOOK at Lulupu?! Two challenges every month! Twice the chance to win goodies!! yay! I am superrrr excited! We get to see so much more of your gorgeous work!

As my inspiration this month, I decided to go with this sweet lil Micia girl.. She says "I LOVE TRAVELLING" and i do!! i loooooove travelling.. ready for a holiday at anyyy given point (poor husband of mine! ;p)

Ive used 2-3 techniques in stamping and heat embossing.. I got this awesome Micia wood stamp in my DT kit which I was dying to use and this was the perfect perfect opportunity.. :) The micia stamps are great quality and superb prices! ;)

I inked her with black memento and stamped onto plain white CS. Then coloured her in with water colour pencils and used my Koi brush to add shading :) Some fussy cutting, stickles and glossy accents later, here she is.. bags packed and ready!! ;)

I created the world map in the background using resist embossing. I stamped the image onto white CS using versamark and clear embossed it. Then using my blending tool i simply covered the entire area with spiced marmalade distress inks :) loooove the bright and merry effects :)

The camera is die cut which i inked with black soot distress ink, then covered the entire area with versamark and clear embossed it :) The pic doesn't do it enough justice :) The lil tag behind is also clear embossed on white CS and then shaded with distress inks :)

The sentiment has been embossed onto vellum using coloured embossing powder. One should ALWAYS enjoy the journey :)

Leave us some love (p.s. i know i've been late in replying to your sweet comments, been missing from blogland for a bit-sorry about that! :)

I'll see all you lovely peeps at #16 - Stamp, colour and emboss :)

Love
Pratiksha

Winners of Challenge #15 - Weather or Not!

Good morning folks!!

We had an awesome time last month inspiring you lovely people with various sceneries and have an even more awesome time checking out your lovely creations.

Before that, let me take the time to remind you, that from this month onwards, our challenges are going to be bi-monthly and NOT monthly. So you will have at most 15 days to play along with us after which the linky list will close and a new challenge will be announced. :) The first challenge of the month will run from the 1st to 15th of that month and the second one, from the 16th - 30th/31st.

Now that we have that cleared up, let us talk about Weather or not! For this challenge, you could create any project as long as it depicted the weather or a scenery but not just one element of the weather. Most of you got that right and we're about to name a few lucky ones here. However, we could not accept certain entries that, even though perfect and adorable on their own, were not made as per the requirements of our challenge. :(

Anyway, before we announce the winners, we would like to mention a few entries that caught our eye as being worthy of a special mention for some reason or the other, and we are going to honour them by showing their work off to all of you. :D The wow factor is its the very first entry for all these 3 crafters and we are stunned by how well these are executed!  So here they are,in no particular order of their entries to the list :P...

Lulupu Challenge #16: Stamp & Colour + Emboss aaaannddd some news...

Hello!!!!

This is Varshitha here, and I am sooo excited to reveal this brand new challenge... Oh yeah the title says it well, but before we announce the challenge details, here's the news...

From this month onwards, we'll be hosting not one, but TWO challenges EVERY MONTH. That means twice as much fun and twice as much chance of winning some goodies. :D :D

The first challenge will run from the 1st till 15th of every month, whereas the second will be on from 16th till 30th/31st of the month. Yaaayy!! :)

So this months fortnight's challenge is....
Challenge #16 - Stamp & Colour + Emboss

Here's what you have to do to win this challenge...

Challenge #16 - Qualification Guidelines
{General Guidelines - here}

1. Create a Card that includes stamping and colouring. This can be done on characters, objects, critters, background, anything in the card. To make this easier, choose outline stamps instead of solid stamps. That will allow a lot of opportunity for you to colour the stamped images.

2. Use embossing on your project. You can use dry embossing with embossing folders, or heat embossing, whatever you find easier and are comfortable with. We will allow them both.

3. We will accept only Cards for this challenge.

4. Please note that the Inlinkz for this challenge will close on September 15, 2013 at 11:55 PM IST.

The winner for this challenge will get a voucher worth INR 500 to shop at the Lulupu Store! :D
