Hola Crafters!
Welcome to a brand new month featuring a fun challenge and lots of fun inspirations from the lovely Lulu-Pooh ladies. After last month's Masculine Cards challenge, we decided to go back to basics for this one. So for this challenge, all you have to do, is STAMP. This month's challenge is....
But wait, wait. It does not stop at just stamping. We wanted to add a tiny little twist to make it a little more fun and well, challenging. :P Here's what you have to do.
Pick up ANY stamp set that you have and create TWO UNIQUE cards using ONLY that stamp set. You can use different inks, different patterned papers, different dies or punches, different embellishments, BUT stamps from only ONE stamp set.
How can your projects qualify for Lulupu's Challenge #13
1. Use only one stamp set but any number of other products. (Digital stamps will not be allowed for this challenge)
2. Create TWO unique CARDS - different styles, using different techniques and different sketches, i.e., two cards that are NOT similar.
3. For your blog post, share a picture of the stamp set (see this post for example) so that the DT can cross check the stamps on the set and on your final project. The Stamp Set and other products used need not be purchased from Lulupu. However, it is ESSENTIAL that you add the image that shows us the stamps on the set in detail to help us judge your entry.
So here are my cards based on the theme for June. I have used Thank You clear stamp set from Micia.
Card no.1: I have used kraft CS for this card. I luckily had this piece of matching embossed paper with me, which I used as the background. The technique I used for this card is paper piecing. I stamped the vase on 2 different pattern papers and paper pieced them together. The flowers and leaves are also stamped on PP and fussy cut. Just added the sentiment and embellished with pearls. Simple, isn't it ?
Card no. 2: This card is also fairly CAS. I stamped directly on the card base highlighted the pattern by creating a frame around it. The frame is made using MS punch around the page -Swirling Lace. Fisnished it off with a pretty bow.
