Challenge #37 - Background stamps + Mists. Bonus Tutorial!

Hello my dear friends,

Kripa here presenting another challenge which I hope all of you find interesting. I hope you all enjoyed the fabulous DT inspiration for the masculine challenge last fortnight. This time too, we have some fantastic projects to share with you. But first the theme

Challenge # 37

Background stamps + Mists / Ink spray
{General Guidelines here}
Guidelines for this challenge-
1. Create ANY project using both background stamps and mists / sprays.You can create a card, tag, layout, mixed media canvas or just about anything as long as you include both these elements.
2. Using a sentiment stamp for example won't qualify, on the other hand if the sentiment is used to create the background then it accepted.
3. The linkup for this challenge will be open till 31st August 2014, 11:55pm  IST.

Are you ready, for the first project.......I had a lot of fun making this mini album and I do hope you all like it. You know, how once in a while you come across a paper pack that you just can't stop creating with - well for me this was it - Heidi Swapp Dreamy! Each and every paper in this pack is super cute.
The album is perfect to hold a few wallet size photographs and there is room for loads of journaling. Now onto the inside pages. Each has been made using stamps, mists and just to add some fun Studio 490 Embossing paste (Translucent) I didn't want a very picture heavy post, so only one photo per page. If you would like to see more photos or have any Qs regarding the steps, please drop me a line in the comments section below and Ill get back to you.

Once the pages were done, I trimmed them down, folded and embellished them using a Heidi Swapp Ephemera pack and Studio Calico wood veneer. There are so many fun elements in a pack - tags, tickets, vellum shapes, journaling cards and more! Here is what the pages finally look like. The embellies on the photo mat have been stapled in the corner so the photo can easily be slid under them.
I hope you liked this album and do let me know if you give any of these techniques a go. Oh, I almost forgot - the prize for this challenge. Once you find out what it is, I'm sure you'll be running and jumping over everything on your way, making a dash for your craft room.
 Yes, you can buy your choice of craft supply from the Lulupu online store with this voucher! So bring out your mists and stamps and get creating. We are eagerly waiting to see your lovely creations.
