Hello, friends !!
This is Jasleen here and it's my last post for Lulupu blog today. So my term ends this month and I'm wondering where did these six months go!! They just whizzed past too fast.
So, today I'm sharing three cards I made using a very cute Mudra stamp set- Cutie Tweety.
Here's the first one:-
For making this one, I started off by die-cutting a rectangular piece from the middle of the grey card base, and temporarily fitting a same-sized white die-cut rectangular piece in that space using a washi tape on the back side. This was to ensure that the paper remains stable while I stamp the birds on it. As you can see, the idea of the card was to show a contrast of a dull and a happy life( that you wish to live), that's why the spotlight coloring over those stamped images only, that are over the white CS. :) Used distress inks for colouring . The shrubs were first clear embossed and then stamped with black Archival ink to add depth.
Onto the second card now :-
Before signing off, I would like to thank Karuna for giving me this opportunity to work as a DT member here and I must say, I tried so many new crafts here, some very different from my usual style , which I may not have attempted otherwise. Thanks Karuna for all your encouragement and support and thank you Sucheta, Roshni, Nikita and Irma for being a great team. :)
Sharing a few of my favorite works I made during my DT tenure here :-
That's all from my side. Thank you for visiting and leaving me your lovely comments. :)

Onto the second card now :-
The background of this card was made by clear embossing the tiny hearts from the stamp set over the upper half of the card base and then sponging a couple of distress inks in the shades of pink. Stamped a few heart images using the same inks over the lover half of the card. The bird and the bird house images were first stamped over a piece of water colour paper, coloured, fuzzy cut and then popped over the white panel using a 3D foam tape. The colouring of the images was done using distress inks here as well.
And here's the third one :-
For this one, I gave a light water colour wash to a Brustro water colour paper using distress inks. Then I die cut some letters to form the word 'Tweet'. As the card shows, I wanted the letters to appear hanging with the help of a twine, with the little birdies holding the other ends . I stacked the die cut letters in black and white colours to make them pop a little more.
So, this is the trio of cards I made using this very cute stamp set by Mudra- Cutie Tweety, which you can find in the Lulupu store HERE. There are many more Mudra stamp sets available in the lulupu store at present. This is the first time I tried these stamps and I love them. They are excellent in quality, give crisp images every time and the best part, they are made in in India and hence, quite a pocket-friendly option for all Indian crafters and stampers.
