  2. Use hearts, and Arrows ( both ) in your project, in ADDITION TO any other embellishments you     wish to use. The heart and arrows could either be fom a patterned paper, stamped, die-cuts, stickers,   hand drawn, wood veneer or sew on your project - just anything. But make sure hearts and arrows       are visible.
  3. Try and use colours OTHER THAN RED & PINK. Though RED & PINK ARE ALLOWED, we'd like to see how you get creative with the colours.

But before you submit please read the general guidelines for the challenge here

Here is my love  layout cause our theme is Hearts & Arrows it mean about Love .

I use a pattern paper from Kaisercraft - Mix & Match Collection  , it suitable for my vintage style .First I tear one of a pattern paper and glued randomly , after that I apply white gesso with sponge.

I continued with more papers craps, pieces of lace and photo, building dimension layer by layer – great technique when you want to get rid of the paper pieces from your desk! Some 3D foams were adding extra dimension too!  Then I add a little colour with gellatos
I use some vintage boy and a little couple images  to my focal point.

I use a vintage stamp,  I added some stamping on the top of my white texture after that I tore the top and bottom of the paper, and glued with a card stock to make the page 12'x12'

I decorated the pieces , a wooden arrows , a heart die cut, flowers , a fussy cut of  butterfly and vintage clock from the paper.

and add paper flowers

The chippie Love Takes Times is my Title and I color the chipboard with ink spray and cover a little with Silks acrylic glaze.

Products you will find at the store :

Mixed Media Card with Background stamp and Mists

Hello everyone!

This is Jaya here.
Hope you all are enjoying the fun challenge -Background Stamps+Mists hosted by our very talented DT Kripa this fortnight.

Here is my mixed media card for you as inspiration.

I used my background stamp to create the illusion of a garden with butterflies and vines and used my mists to colour the entire scene.

STEP BY STEP-

For this card, I first chose the base on which I had to start building up my design.
I decided  to go with a semi gloss chipboard. This was none other than the packaging I had saved from my Martha Stewart scoreboard.

Next I randomly sprayed my Lindys Starburst sprays on this in Bachelor button blue,
Sea Grass green, Sea mint green and Tweedle Dee Denim Flat Fabio.

I then stamped my Justrite Background Stamp- Butterfly and Vines in Black Archival Ink.
I lifted off some ink from the image from the top portion before it could dry.

Again a coat of Lindy's sprays lighten the stamping further. Then heat dried all of this.

Now I started with my stencils from Magenta and used some texture paste mixed with Lindy's  Stamp gang spray-  Cape Cod Coral and made the flowers.

The butterflies are also from the same stencil with I made using some texture paste in black and later coated them with glossy accents and some glitter.
I also used the Prima- Bubbles stencil to make the bubbles. Outlined them with charcoal pencil and filled in with some white and light blue Oil pastels.

Made the centre of the flowers with LSG Sprays- Rambling Rose Pink
Gave a few splatters with LSG sprays- Rambling Rose Pink , Bachelor Button blue and
Shimmerz Spray- white

I applied some glossy accents to the top portion of the card and coated it with diamond dust. When dry I lightly added some Tweedle Dee Denim Flat Fabio on this and allowed it to seep through the crevices. Also used my latest buy Prima chalk edger fluid set #2. -Green for highlighting the grasses and stems
I also distressed the edges of the card with Prima comfort craft tool.

Lastly made a Hashtag sentiment- Happy days with Studio Calico wood veneer-Alphabets and coated it with black paint and glossy accents.

Hope you liked the card and were inspired enough to participate. Only a couple of days left to get in your entry into this challenge.
So don't forget to enter your creations here.

Challenge #37 Background stamp + Home made Ink Sprays..

Hello dear friends, This is Deepti , hope you are enjoying the current challenge here at Lulupu hosted by our lovely Kripa and today is my turn to inspire you with a sweet and simple card.
Please find the rules and guide lines here..

And here is my card!

I took a water color paper and stamped with Kaisercraft-love cherish adore back ground stamp in Versamark ink and heat set it with Seafoam white embossing powder.

Then I sprayed home made ink sprays (If you want to know how I made those ink sprays, kindly visit my blog, there you can find a video tutorial on this) in light pink and light purple colors very generously

Then I stamped the rose flower, Inkadinkado stamp, in versafine black ink in onynx and colored in and out the roses with color pencils... Just to give a little bit of interest I've added some clear stickles...

Finally stamped the sentiment on to a piece of vellum and heat set it with the same embossing powder.. (It just looks like gold rt.. :p) and for the final touch I've added blings here and there.. ;)

Hope you like this card and got inspired to create something for

Thank you so much for stopping by.. Take care and I'll see you next time.. ;)
