Circle Shaped Card + Tutorial

Hi dear friends,

Dolly here, and today I am going to share some really easy circle shaped cards with you. I also have a tutorial to share on how to create a circle shaped card and using a partial die cut technique to add the sentiment.

So, as you can see I have a pictorial tutorial on how you can create the partial die cut sentiment on a circle shaped base. You can use any circle die / cutter to create the base. For the sentiment, all you need to take care is that some part of the sentiment is connected to your base line [ I have used a pencil mark for reference ]. While die cutting, make sure that your cutting plates are aligned with the pencil marking, in order not to cut through the entire sentiment.
Once die cut, using a blade, I have cut on the pencil marking just to have the sentiment hanging!

I have also inked up the white base with some distress inks, and stamped the birthday sentiment along with a few stars. To finish off the card, I adhered the die cut base to a corrugated piece of circle, which is one size bigger. For the inside, I used another piece of die cut circle which was attached by punching some holes right on the top portion of the card.

Here's the finished card:

Since, I was in the mood, I created a couple of other circle cards. Sharing it with you all.

I hope you liked my take on this month's challenge.

Do check out more details on the below link and also share your projects to win some crafty goodies from Lulupu!

See you all soon!
