Meow! Meow!! :P

Hello Crafters!!

This is Nikita here with my inspiration (albeit a day late :P) for this fortnight's challenge - Stamp & Colour + Emboss. For my card, I decided to stamp and colour these gorgeous colours from the Stamp Set called Wildflowers by The Craft's Meow. It is an amazing stamp with a great image that is perfect for colouring in. :D While colouring, I got so carried away that I coloured the flowers in three different colour combinations. Yes, you read that right - THREE; and I am going to show all three to you. :) I stamped the flowers in Versamark and used Ranger's Black Superfine Detail embossing powder (Stamping & Embossing, check :D) and coloured the stamps using Faber Castell watercolour pencils (Colouring, check!) I then smoothened the colour pencil lines using my Koi Waterbrush and then I added some Stickles here and there :P

I embossed a piece of white CS about 1/4" shorter than the card base with Provocraft's Embossing Folder called 'Seeing Spots' (Embossing, double check :P). I cut the PP with the coloured flowers out using Nestabilities Scalloped Ovals die and distressed the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink and layered the stamped & coloured flower over the embossed CS.

Below the ovals, I tied some twine. :)

For the sentiments, I chose another Meow stamp set (it has nothing to do with cats, though;) called Side By Side. It has such amazing quotes and it is perfect for anniversary/love themed cards.
